The advert had very flattering lighting
You have seen the adverts. Qualified in six weeks. Guaranteed interviews. £30 an hour from day one. And some part of you thought: if it were that easy, why does the industry lose most of its trainers within two years?
Here is what the adverts do not say. Most education companies are conveyor belts. They take your money, sell you fear, and nickel-and-dime you to a certificate that stops mattering the day you pass.
That instinct you had? That is the whole test. Most people ignore it. The one in ten does not.

You want the reason, not the routine
Ten exercises copied from an influencer are still just ten exercises, built for everyone and no one. You want to observe the person in front of you, understand why, and build from there. That is coaching.
You are building a career, not collecting a certificate
The qualification is the floor, not the finish line. Build the skills properly, test them against the evidence, use them with real clients, then be proud of being bloody good. We like an ego that has earned its seat.
You care more than the gym does
Gyms want trainers who pay rent and do as they are told. Most trainers want an easy life, one programme thrown at everyone, no thought. You have watched both and thought, I could do better. Correct. You could.
When we call you brilliant, it means something
We give you every tool, explanation and bit of support we can. We will also tell you when the work is not there yet. The feedback may sting for a minute, but when brilliant arrives, you will know you earned it.
You have a reason
Not every reason comes with a big story. Sometimes you are 18, academia never worked for you, and this is the first thing you have wanted to master. Sometimes you have fought battles, or been let down by the industry. The common bit is you mean it. We can teach the science, coaching and business. We cannot manufacture care, intent or character. We like characters.

...you want cheap to mean easy
Cheap is not the problem. Our Level 2 and Level 3 may be the cheapest around, because we do not pad them with filler to make the price look big. Start simple, work properly, add more as you grow. But if a low price means low effort and an easy pass to you, we are not your people.
...you want us to do your half as well
FASTER is self-paced, but never unsupported. Open the course, have a go, ask when you are stuck. Do that and you get quick replies and proper help. We meet effort with effort. We just cannot supply your half.
...you collect certificates like Star Wars figures
We genuinely want to see the collection. But if the certificate is the prize and the learning is just the packaging, we are not your people. Someone else will happily take your money.
None of this makes you wrong. It just means FASTER is not what you need, and I would rather help you find the right thing than take your money for the wrong one.
The road is bumpy. FASTER gives you suspension.
